Biography
Associate Professor Ben Tran is a medical oncologist at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre where he leads the Genito-Urinary (GU) Medical Oncology group and clinical trials program. Ben’s research revolves around GU cancers, with focuses on Early Drug Development and Real-World Evidence generation. Ben has led and continues to lead the early development of novel cancer therapeutics, including cellular therapies and immuno-oncology approaches. Ben Chairs the Phase 1 Group within Cancer Trials Australia, and leads a GU research group within the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical research. He also Chairs the Germ Cell Tumour subcommittee within ANZUP.
