Dr Michael Allen is a medical oncologist at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital, Queensland. He completed his oncology training in south-east Queensland before completing a clinical research fellowship in upper gastrointestinal malignancies at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in Toronto, Canada. Dr Allen has a Master of Public Health from Monash University and holds the academic position of Senior Lecturer with the Griffith University School of Medicine and Dentistry. Dr Allen’s research interests are in biliary, pancreatic and gastroesophageal malignancies, population health outcomes and real world data and collaborates on research with the Cancer Alliance Queensland.
